Friday 28th November 2014 Lesson Review

Like I said in my last lesson review, I had an idea of using a Blink 182 UK Flag as my background for the Cover Image. However, the colours on the flag does not suit my Colour Scheme and it didn't look right when I experimented with it in Photoshop. So, after doing some research online, I found an image that I really liked and that I felt would look good as a background image, because the band logo ties in with my main story, and it looks quite arty (how I wanted my background to be). I first tried to just have this image repeated over and over on the page, but I wanted to create my own background image and be individual, so I made my own using a Blink 182 logo and the colour fill tool, I changed the colours of the logos and collated them onto the page to create a 4,3,4,3 pattern. I am very happy with how it turned out. I then began to add my main features (Masthead, Skyline etc.) onto the newly created background. I am very happy with my progress today and I am due to get some more shots to add into my magazine.
